review: crest whitestrips supreme - teeth whitening at home

those suckers are stained - of course - i smoke, i drink coffee, tea, wine etc - so it's time to whiten them again.

last time i did that was 2 yrs ago with crest whitestrips professional effect, now i'm trying out the supreme ones. let me simply break down the few differences to you and give you some facts:

h y d r o g e n   p e r o x i d e

hydrogen peroxide bleaches organic stuff, also known as peroxide (my hicolor contained peroxide which was activated with the cream developer) - my blonde bleaching kit wouldn't have worked without this chemical agent. lesser known is its use for whitening our teeth (talking about at-home-products in europe) you don't get whitestrips in the regular drugstore, you have to order them online. 

crest whitestrips professional effects worked pretty good - with 10% hydrogen peroxide - guess i used it for 10-14 days last time until i had my desired whitening level. the supreme ones contain 14% hydrogen peroxide as mentioned, so it works faster and you don't need to do a 20 day treatment like with the professional ones. i will go for a 14 days treatment this time - not 20 days, don't wanna end up with too white teeth like naddel haha

at the same time as it works faster, gumline irritations or tooth pain can accure (cuz it's stronger) - that should be considered if you are going to buy them. i have healthy teeth so i don't feel any discomfort with the stronger ones.

d o' s   &  d o n' t s

• if you have sensitive teeth (you notice that pretty easy when you drink ice cold water or eat ice cream and your teeth hurt) - don't use whitestrips professional effects or supreme ones
• don't brush your teeth immediately before using the strips, wait at least an hour before you apply them (healthy teeth/gumline or not, if you use them straight after brushing then you'll fell discomfort/little pain)
• the package says 2x a day for about 30 min - i use it 1x a day for an hour - works fine for me
• if you decide to start, then pull through and use them everyday until the treatment is done - don't skip days! had a few girls who complained about how it's not working lol they skipped days + smoked like hell LOL seriously? don't skip even one day! (it's something else when you experience sensitivity or pain - but then you need to double the time of treatment days for accurate effects)
• during the treatment days do your best to avoid smoking, coffee and things that could stain your teeth - i don't smoke after i applied the strips, meaning i use it in the late evening before going to bed.
• if you want to smoke, drink coffee or whatever wait at least half an hour and brush your teeth after it
• don't wear them overnight and don't stress over an hour - you might not be able to properly drink or eat the next days. yeh you don't want to try that out
• use crest whitestrips not some wannabe blend-a-med shit 
• you can drink water anytime after you took the strips off
• brush your teeth gently after taking them off, that way you can remove leftover gel that is still on your teeth (doesn't taste good at all)
• where i bought them? ebay for 37€

you simply place the upper strip on your upper teeth. gel side facing your teeth of course, and put it into place. it will be a bit too wide for your teeth, so simply flip back the rest. same with the lower strip. the supreme ones don't stick that good as the professionals do, but it's ok.

I'll continue to post pictures in here, so you can see the progress. day 3 by now and i can see a nice little difference - ok i should say that if your teeth never have been whitened before then you will see a bigger difference i guess, but my teeth are still brighter than others, so my progress isn't that obvious at first. why i do it? heck because i want to.
